In the inaugural series, Dreams, Gallery 13 Photography presents 13 pictures of the world unified by the theme of dreams. The Dreams Gallery puts forth the question: Do our dreams have meaning, and if they do, whether our dreams present us with a call to action? The photographs themselves evoke thoughts of dreams, presenting surreal images of reality, while passages from the Bible are used to further the meaning that dreams may hold if we allow ourselves to believe in a higher calling on our lives, as is made manifest in the Holy Word of God.
One of Gallery 13 Photography's purposes is to compel the observer to look beyond the physical world presented by the photographs, and draw the viewer into the spiritual world conveyed by the theme of the photographs, thereby enabling one to draw a connection between the physical and spiritual within each frame.
Gallery 13 Photography is a limited-edition print gallery with an objective to present the world as it is observed in its natural state, without the use of post-production techniques to alter or manipulate the natural world from what was actually observed. Each limited-edition print is signed and serially marked. If you are interested in purchasing a print, please inquire for more information.
Gallery 13 Photography is currently on exhibit at the Fremont Center for the Arts.
